Tthe 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition was up for auction at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ on 1-21-2012. The car sold for $600,000. Minutes later it was announced that William Vannoy, the losing bidder in the auction, had also donated $100,000 to the sale to bring the total amount to $700,000, all of which will be going to benefit the AARP Drive For Hunger.
