Not trying to diminish anyone's beliefs or anything, but my gut is telling me that all this angst over December 21, 2012 is nothing more than a lot of hullabaloo; similar to the Y2K scare with computers, that lingered right up until midnight of January 1, 2000 even after the basic problem had largely been addressed...
