Default Last Lunar Eclipse of 2011

So anyone planning on taking in the eclipse tonight/tomorrow morning?

Lunar Eclipse 2011: How to Watch Moon Disappear Saturday - Yahoo! News

Looks like we won't be able to view it east of the Mississippi... but if I'm awake, I'll check it out. I always enjoy the winter full moons here more than any other time of the year. Some nights they're so big and bright, I can see well enough to read with nothing more than moonlight.

    Oh, what wonders we behold!

would have been cool to watch,
I was watching the moon last night as I was driving up the eastern border if NY
from CT,I was tempted to stop and take a couple of pics of it,this was as it was rising and the sun was setting.

It was big and bright, and I thought of how magical it would look if it was Christmas eve.....

My dad recently retired from long haul driving Bill. He once told me some of the prettiest full moons he saw were out west, especially in the desert. He told me sometimes they were so bright he'd turn of his headlights and run without them... in the less populated regions of course.

I bet you see a lot of falling stars too. Dad saw them all the time.
