Default Remember me? I hope so.. I know, it's been a while

    Hey Gang..
Yeah, it's been a while since coming here. I've been lurking per email updates a bit, but life has taken it's toll on my forum activities.

Work (I think i told you guys about my travels), had me starting to go all over EMEA every 2-3 weeks for a few days, sometimes over the weekend, so my spare free time was spent with the family. They've been very good about it, though my daughter still doesnt want me to leave. Have to. Ah well. It's been a bit quiter though, and today, i happened to be in the office to support a colleague out there with a new office built. Wife is doing Thanksgiving Day at home and isnt pleased .

My car: Still exists, though it's been in the shop for the last 3 month. I had to get the 2 year inspection (in Germany the TUeV is every 2 years) done and the steering column was going a bit lefty-righty , so, the mechanic was looking for parts, but it's coming back together now and i should have it back just in time to put her in the garage for the white stuff coming soon. Although, if the weather stays dry and cold, i will use her again for my DD. My kid is looking forward to being driven in the mornings with "Corvetti" again too.. Ah yes, not living close to the parts is an issues once in a while with an almost 30 year old car.

We've been to the States in June, as my Mother in Law's health is deterioating, she is 80 and has been falling quite a bit. So back and forth to the Hospital with her and the wife being anxious on the sidelines here..

I'll leave other personal stuff offline, but let's just say it wasnt fun in the last 3-6 month.

But, either way, i will continue to lurk. Feel free to send me PMs or an email. I always keep my brothers and sisters from the CAC in mind.

I hope you all doing good, enjoyed the holidays and have fun with your cars.

Just thought i'd hop on and say HI to y'all (all y'all as it might be ).

    See you around!
    -Stefan

Stefan, it's so very nice to hear from you again! I'm glad you're doing well and that you still have your Corvette. Alan and I are doing fine and continue to enjoy our two Vettes. It's almost time here in Boston to put them away....but not quite yet!

Good to hear from you, Stefan!
We get older, life throws us the occasional curve... we try to adapt.
I'm sorry to hear of the health problems in your family and I hope things are already improving. In the meantime, check in here with us often and we'll talk Corvettes and try to make it a little easier to cope.

Stefan! Nice to hear from ya man. I think eventually we all need to take a "hiatus" from time to time for one reason or another. Glad to see you're still hanging on to the '82 there. I was not so lucky with the CFI powered machine.
