There is a roadster version in the works, according to Autoweek.

I'm glad Catbert got that one as I was scratching my head on how to even search for that one!!

Speaking of baffling me, the concept of putting a radial engine into a vehicle misses me completely. Likewise with a turbine. Perhaps using a turbine to generate electricity for a gas/electric hybrid but otherwise the realities of driving a vehicle doesn't play to the strengths of the engine.

Mopar was dead serious about the radial. They put 200,000 miles on only 2 prototypes, mostly the one pictured. I gathered by the articles, they just didn't want to diddle with the packaging that would have to engineered, and took the easy way out. The engines were not the issue. For the day they put out great power, had good longevity, could be air cooled (or not). I've always heard they were noisy, but don't know about automotive application noise. WW2 came around to end the project. Do some Googling - it's very interesting
