AutoBuild has put the new American muscle car icon - the Corvette ZR1 - against one of Europe's best - the Mercedes SL65 AMG. The Corvette ZR1 packs a 6.2 V8 engine that sends 647PS and 819Nm of torque to the rear wheels. It has a top speed of 205 mph and a 0 to 60 mph acceleration time of 3.4 seconds. The Mercedes SL65 AMG is powered by a 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine that outputs 612 hp and an amazing 1000 Nm of torque. The Mercedes SL65 AMG is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds and can go with a maximum speed of 250 km/h.
