Default Knuckle-headed Driver!

There I was, waiting for the light to turn green when a C4 pulls up beside me at the light. He was in the right-turn lane, I was in the right-hand through lane. When the light turns green he accelerates faster than me; but, it was by no means a race as the pavement was wet. Then he pulls LEFT into the lane in front of me. I thought what a bonehead. He pulled into the left through lane a bit farther up.

Well, here is the intersection with a main road. He put on his left turn signal in the left hand through lane and TURNS LEFT from it around a person in the left turn lane at the intersection! What an idiot! At least he used his turn signal.

I just had to get that out.

Instead of all those drunk drivers ads, don't you wish they would put on some 30 Sec. spots on how to drive on todays modern streets? I honestly think some people just don't have a clue. I see this kind of stuff every day.

A little heads up. If you ever get to Sioux Falls S.D. be very very careful. What you described is the norm there.

Bone headed stunts like that one - and all the others this inconsiderate jackass does on any given day - are one of the reasons people believe the worst about Corvette drivers.

Glad he didn't hit you, Randy.

I had a lady on a Saab do that to me the other day. I was in the left turn lane and she was in the straight through lane. She not only made a left but cut over into my lane so that we both came to a stop in the middle of the intersection to keep from colliding.

Two travel lanes, left-turn lane, right-turn lane. Large, well-marked intersection.

Tractor-trailer pulls into right-turn lane, and turns on right turn signal.

When left-turn traffic light comes on, truck makes left turn from right-turn lane, with right turn signal still on. Very classy, and with an intersection that large, there's no way it had anything to do with his turning radius.

Followed gal 3/4 mile with left signal, blink-blink-blink-blink. Finally turns it off and within a short distance turns right with NO signal.

Am I not correct that, at least one, bike turn signal shuts off automatically on a timer?

Maybe on the newer bikes (good idea too) but not on the older ones.

I love the ones who are in a parking lot on, say, the south bound side of a road and pull out INTO the southbound travel lane and just sit there, blocking traffic , till someone lets them into the northbound traffic. KNUCKLEHEADS!!!!! Rant over......

Default How About

Two things bother me. One the other day I was traveling and it started to rain. Before the rain the traffic was running 75. As soon as the rain starts the lead car gets beside a truck and drops his speed to 60 matching the truck and there we sit for thirty miles with poor visibility from the mist being kicked up. Of course as soon as we got past this driver the vision was 200% better.

The other is the same driver tooling along in the passing lane next to a truck on a clear day. When you get a chance to go around them on the right side they look at you like you are crazy.

The only thing I can think of is they are either scared to pass a truck or they are breeding hopeing the truck will make their car grow up into a big SUV.

The problem that I am seeing the most or maybe it is the one that upsets me most are the drivers in a lane that is clearly marked to end. I have had them speed up to get in front of me or just stay beside me until I slow down or stop. And if I honk the horn to warn them they look at me like I have three heads or flip me off. In Colorado, a new law went in effect last year, if you are in the left lane and not passing you can get a ticket. The problem is that most drivers either don't care or don't want to get over. I think that when cut backs forced schools to stop offering Driver's Ed, we raised a generation of people that don't know how to drive.
