On the package, it reads............... "Especially suitable for long-distance driving, drunk driving and night driving".

Here's a close-up....

On the back, it reads........... "Before long-distance driving, drunk driving or night driving, put the "Cure Sleepiness Right Away" on the right ear or the left ear............."

It's unbelievable that manufacturers, distributors and retailers can be this irresponsible in their behaviour. Freakin' idiots are implying that all those falling down drunks need to do, when they crawl from the bar to the car, is clip one of these to the ear and they're back to being Mario Andretti.

Idiots.

How old is this? I remember them coming out as a new thing quite some years ago if it's what I think it is. Basically it's a motion detector that if your head starts to nod down like you're dozing off, it lets out a shrieking beep waking you up again. Not sure how it'd do anything for you if you were driving drunk...other than making you freak out and swerve right into a ditch...hmm...you wouldn't be drunk driving anymore though, so maybe it is kind of a cure...
