It's the Vette that keeps him young! Cool story!
92 Year Old Corvette Owner!!
I have to tell you this true story about a recent customer of mine...
Last week, an elderly gentleman drove up to our store in a 2002 white TransAm WS6 convertible. He got out and walked over to some of our Corvettes on the front line. I went out to say hi but certainly never thought this older man really had any interest in buying a Vette. How wrong I was!
Not only did he have a sincere interest in Corvettes, he wanted to buy one!! We talked a while, he told me what he was looking for (which we had, of course!). He was trading in the TA for a 2005 Daytona Sunset Orange coupe. When we filled out the paperwork, I learned that this lovely gentleman is 92 years old!!! In fact, he is closer to 93 than 92!
This man is a true inspiration to all of us. He doesn't wear glasses, has no hearing aid, no cane, and he walks...and drives...remarkably well!!! Not only that, but he goes ballroom dancing regularly (wanted to know if I like to dance!) and is an active member of the Senior Citizen organization in town.
Howard has come back to visit us a couple of times and is having a wonderful time in his new Corvette. I wouldn't be surprised to see him trade up for another Vette someday!

I don't think this is a good thing, but I'm used to having no one agree with me.

YOU should try it! Made major brownie points and some good memories with my wife when I surprised her with lessons.Wish I had more time to go more often.

Very cool story.
Cool story. Glad to hear he's staying active and in pretty good shape... he's in better shape than I am.
Gotta watch out for those older guys and their spiffy convertibles.

That's a cool old roadster the old guy has there. I think it's great that the "older generation" still can appreciate the neat cars.
