Default 3rd Annual Putnam Hospital Car Show - Carmel, NY

2006 Car Show featuring the Corevtte & Pontiac Solstice- July 15th [Carmel, NY]
I have finally been able to get everything to work! This year's show will be held on Saturday, July 15th. ( Rain Date July 16th)

Thanks to all that have expressed interest in our show since my original post and have attended our past shows. The annual show benefits Putnam Hospital Center, 100% of the proceeds of this year's show will go towards our planned Oncology Unit.

Our 2006 show will be our third show. We started as an all Corvette show in 2004 and had over 80 corvettes, by popular demand after our 2004 show we opened the 2005 show to muscle cars. It was a huge sucess raising in excess of $ 6,000 to help construct a new Emergency Room.

Our 2006 show will help support the construction of a new Oncology Unit. Currently our patients have to drive long distances to obtain cancer care, we hope to change that soon.

Many Pontiac Solstices will be attendeding the show as it is this years feature car.

We expect in excess of 100 cars. We have a DJ for the entire show, raffle & door prizes, food tent, the registration fee will be $ 20.00 prior to the show and $ 25.00 on show day. ( Corvette & Solstice Owners can register the day of show for $20.00)

We will have as much paved parking as we need but generally use 1 1/2 spaces per car. It is people choice award format with several different catagories. Everyone is welcome and all cars, the only requirement is you have "Pride in your Ride" which is this year's theme.

The show is held on the hospital campus located in Carmel, New York (zip 10512) which is about 70 miles north of NYC, 10 miles from Danbury CT. For those that are interested the hospital's website is www.putnamhospital.org.

Email me at bdisanto@Health-quest.org or call at 845-279-5711, x 4903 for information. I hope to have our web site live by the end of the week, I can also email the shows flyer and registration forms. All checks should be made payable to Putnam Hospital Center Foundation and sent to the following address:

    Putnam Hospital Center
    670 Stoneleigh Ave
    Carmel, New York 10512
    Attn: Ben DiSanto
    Administration

If anyone has contacts in the field that may be willing to provide their products to give away for door prizes or for placement in the goodie bag please provide me with contact information. All help would be greatly appreciated.

    Help spread the word!

    Hope to see you there!!

    Ben

Ben I will be there, I actually have some photos from the 2004 show. My orthopedic surgeon is based out of your hospital. He is up on the third floor in the new wing.(I guess its not considered new anymore)

this time I will definately bring some shade with me.

Yes Larry I remember that pic. I went home empty handed at that show. My car wasn't pretty enough to take home a Trophy.

Yup I went home with a sunburn only

But My son John James went home with a trophy for the best polishing job as he spent all day polishing the car and some one from the event took the time to recognize his efforts and I greatly appreciated it.

He still brags about the day He got a trophy and the car got nothing

PS Pete he still remebers your car as being a special car
