are you thinking about going Dwayne; I have yet to make up my mind, will decide after cruise-fest too many events not enough Vacation time.

We had a blast last year, even picked up some parts for the 76.

Thanks, Lance, for the Carlisle info. By the way, do you know that the count for attending Grand Sports is around 84 now? Not bad, huh!!!

Sincerely,

Lance I look foward to anther great event.

Did you every speak to your dad about this event? I wonder if he realized this is not just a car show or a car event,to me and alot of other folks its like a family reunion. We meet up with folks that I only get to see at this event.

This is an event I bring my entire family to and they also look foward to it. This is an event that we actually make our room reservations a year in advance. (I dont even do that for our family vacations) Our family and freinds actually ask us what date it is so that they dont schedule a wedding or a party they want us to attend.

I am sure he knew it was going to be a great show but I wonder if he ever thought it was going to turn out like this.

In 2005 we were picked for celeberty choice, My kids drove up with me to get our award. This is a life time memory for them and myself.

We all look foward to the show and speak of it often at the kitchen table month in advance of the actuall show

IH-

It's was wonderful reading your post - that's what my father wanted Corvettes at Carlisle to be. My father was simply an enthusiast that just wanted to get everyone together in a casual way and have FUN - Corvettes at Carlisle was his solution. Fortunately for me the apple doesn't fall far from the tree - I love Corvettes & I certainly love Corvette people. It still amazes me to this day - I swear just about everyone I meet one way or another we always end up talking about cars. Our hobby/world is much bigger then one can imagine. I'm just fortunate to be doing what I love, and very fortunate that my father paved the way allowing me to pursue something I enjoy.

Life is good & thank you for sharing your thoughts - it's always nice to read! Your post says a lot about Corvettes at Carlisle... that's what it is all about!

Sincerely,

Lance

Lance.....YUP Carlisle was a GREAT time last year to say the least....It has and will become an "annual" trek for us....Being chosen for the "Chips Choice " display as well was a thrill. My son Alex took a 20 minute video of our trip to carlisle..baking the car off the trailer..You backing us in to our spots in Bldg. "T" etc.....and we relive the memories often..good memories...ones that you helped create......Thank you just isn't enough my friend!!

I'm sure I'll run into you at an event shortly..
