Default New Member, 2nd Vette after 35 years

    Hi All,
I'm a new member and thought I'd introduce myself. I bought a new 1977 L48 in '77 during my sophmore year. I loved that car, but it is long gone. I was having lunch with some of my college classmates a couple of months ago, and someone mentioned that car. Since then, I've been looking at Vettes on eBay, and throwing out some lowball bids. I accidentally bid too high, and was the only bidder on this Bright Red '89 at $4k. It was a good deal, but not a great deal, because it is a "20 feet" car - It looks great from 20', but not so great from closer. It does run good despite the 90K miles, and I'll enjoy working on it and bringing it back to perfect. I'm really looking forward to participating in the forums.
    Thanks!
    Lionel

From the "Windy City" looks pretty awesome!

You will enjoy your "antique" C4 (referred to affectionately!).

Welcome to the CAC! Best bunch of folks on the net.

If I may say so, and I do!
