Hi Larry, Glad to hear you picked up another Vette after 30yrs. I'm 60yo also, but not retired. I bought a 69 Vette after getting out of the Army in 1972 for $3200, boy things have changed, anyway I have had 6 Vette since then, I have 2 (88/99) now. For me Vettes are fun to drive, fun to maintain and they look great. Every time I sold one I longed for another and at this point in my life, I wish I was able to have kept them all. Good luck with your new ride, this is a great site and the members are most helpful.![]()

Thanks
A big thanks to all of the nice welcoming comments. After having my first Vette. A red 1964 convert, I bought in 1975 for $2,345 and it had a rod knocking the bug has been planted. I sold that after several fun years and partial restoration and a obtained a slightly used 1976 which I drove and loved until the wife informed me that it was time for a station wagon. 30 years later, two sons through college and a new wife that likes Corvettes, the "bug" bites and it's on. I know all you folks understand. Again, thank for the warm welcome.
Welcome to CAC, to bad about that Indiana thing.
Been to Fishers many time while it was in its boom town stage.
My '64 came from Indiana back in the late '90s. got any paperwork on your's hanging around?
C6 has been to 20 states, 42K miles and counting... slowly, more fun driving the '64 and the '72.
Sorry no paperwork on the '64. Fishers is still booming. Don't know when it will quit
Welcome to the CAC Forum LarryQ.Hope you get to drive your Corvette on good days.
