Default What is in your E&E bag?

We all have our special little tricks and special items in our escape and evasion bags.

I have mine packed with a lot of stuf I think will help me. But I am always looking for new suggestions that may save my life.

So let's share ideas!!

Like "What's in your tool box?"

What do you have in your E&E bag?

Thanks,

Gringo

One of my special things is an 8.5 by 11 file folder that is bright orange like a VS-17 panel. I have a red and black US flag drawn in the middle of it. It is folded up and in my "quick grab" compartment so I can signal Americans passing.

The flag is red to stand out during the day and the black lines will show up on their Night vision gear.

Here I am running around with an AK, all dirty...maybe wounded and a head wrap to cover my blonde hair...waving at an American in a Bradley...I want something he recognizes...

What do you have in your E&E bag?

Escape and Evasion Assembly--

2005 Kawasaki FI 1600 Vulcan Nomad with handlebar mounted M-16 mount and rear carrier equipped with 4 rear facing LAWS rockets. Saddlebags hold 300 rounds each of armor piercing shells and front crash bars have pockets that hold 6 each frag grenades. Not many cage drivers try to invade my lane with this set up!!

Randy

PS: Do you need me to send you this set up?? Maybe you could use it for some search and destroy missions!!

Nice rig.

Can I get one for my buddy too!!!

Here are couple of pictures of what I carry in my bag.

Also shown is the optional traffic jam clearance tool

It is available from www.diamondbacktactical.com in Phoenix with a parachute. In case you forgot yours...you can call Dominos to deliver one. It isn't as fast or as versatile as yours but...

All I have is a Three Musketeers bar, and a ball point pen, a comb, a pint of Old Harper, a couple of flashlight batteries and some beef jerky.

So, you pay out a lot to a multitude of kids who claim you around the country, right?

Shifting gears and back to the thread...

My E&E bag always had a GPS, 550 cord, 100mph tape, a Game Boy (does this date the age of my E&E bag?), pictures of my "girls" (Vette+Significant Other), green note books, my camo Franklin Covey day planner, bushnell binos, K-Bar, and a couple of car mags. I bought the bag in Korea and it packed like a small ruck.

Default Kit.

A flag's good. But do you have an all purpose utility knife with hidden compartments for things like matches, hooks, wire, fishing line, compass. can opener, screwdriver and small sniperscope. I do. You wouldn't believe how handy its been. Everything is built into the handle.

Lol... and I really don't have a problem hitching lifts with troop convoys even if I was in uniform or not.

That is a really good idea. Where can I get one of those knives? Only the Marines would have a knife with a built in sniper scope!! lol

I didn't mention some of the stuff I have in mine. I have taken several salt packs from MRE's and have them in a plastic bag. I also have a couple of Hoo Yah bars in a bag. They have come open but no matter. I was planning to open them before I ate them anyway.

I also have a couple of the towellets from the MRE's and some of the matches. Also some of the ice tea drink. An infrared strobe for signaling attractive Marine Colonels in the night!...and a bunch of 550 cord, insect repellant, heat pack from an MRE, MRE toilet paper, infared chem lights, some mini green chem lights, a couple of the glow in the dark strips like the "cat eye" bands (I have one on my flashlight so I can find it when the lights go out here), a LED flashlight, a laser pointer, a red chem light, a bunch of spare batteries for the GPS, a second GPS, in case my primary is destroyed in the vehicle, two Gerber 3.5 inch folders (one in the "quick grab" compartment and the other inside), about 150 rnds of 9mm (figuring I can take AK mags off the dead whatevers), a spare battery for my Iraqna, a phone car charger for the Iraqna and my night vision optics are attached to the back of the bag. It is a small bag and has sholder straps that I can use to sling it over one sholder or both. I often ride with one of the straps around my ankle so I don't forget it if I "debus" in a hurry... lol

But do you want to hear something odd? I am the only person in our company who carries an E&E bag. I am also the only one who never leaves the house without a med kit besides my personal one...I guess they will all consider me their friend if they get shot up. Besides their (only the expats have personal med kits) own, I am the only one who carries stuff for others. I keep telling the TCN's and LN's to start packing but they don't...

I started carrying an E&E bag when I was a TA on the electric projects and moving around the country a lot in early '04

And if I could get one of those "Flame67" full face masks with flowing red hair, then perhaps I would not have problems getting a ride either LOL
