Another One Gone
I received word yesterday that my first boss in the military died. He was 92 years old. His name was Frank Carraher and was one of the first Chief Master Sergeants (E-9) in the Air National Guard. He was in the Marines in WW II as an E-7 and served under "Chesty" Puller in the Battle of Peleliu, one of the bloodiest in the war. A true veteran and gentleman in every sense of the word. I stayed in touch with him all these years and will miss him greatly.
We're losing more of these guys every day.
