Ahh, Field Artillery, I was in a 8inch Self-Propelled outfit in Bamberg, Germany. FDC, drove a 577, did it different back then. We used aiming stakes, now its all GPS or better, Good Luck to you Edmond.

Just remember to work WITH your senior NCO's and you'll do a great job and end up with a whole lot more respect from your men, you can learn a lot from them. Hope you enjoy artillery, I spent six years in FDC with a 155 towed unit and enjoyed it.

I will be at Fort Sill until February. After that, I do not know where I'll be stationed. Won't know until Thanksgiving or Christmas time, I believe.
