Default How do you align the waterpump drive shaft coupling?

I'm looking for any advice on aligning the waterpump driveshaft coupling. Thought I would just use the attachment bolts and 'force' the pump on, but I backed out of that idea when I realized I could warp the pump. Its a new delco pump. Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Should slide on pretty easily as far as I can remember.

Just wiggle it a little bit as you are putting it together. The splines will line up and it will slide right on.
