Thread: No Start after work

    1996 red coupe lt4 manual 6 speed

    Default No Start after work


    Installed newplugs, new distributor, new coil, still no start pined the under dash plug andgot these numbers
    C12 1 , 9 H65, 1.0 then nothing after that it did not repeat. Is that the MAFneeds replacing I blew a radiator hose some time back any help is appreciated.

    I would confirm that you have fuel pressure. You can here the fuel pump by turning the key on only and listen for a small buzzing sound. Given the pump fires then acquire a fuel pressure gauge and measure the pressure with just the key in the on position (43lbs) and then crank the engine to see if the pressure holds. In regard to the codes you posted I would see if you can have someone pull the codes from the OBDII interface.
