"Corvette Black Book" says 488 yellow Corvettes in '96.
    6359 LT4's were built.

I don't know of any place that tracks the '96 Corvettes by color and option combinations except for Grand Sports.

I don't know how accurate this web site is... it isn't maintained, or at least it's not up to date. But it does have production numbers.

1996 Chevrolet Corvette Stats, Facts, Trivia and Options

    According to it's info:

    - 21,536 total 1996 Corvettes were produced (probably includes the 1,000 Grand Sports)

    - 6,359 of those were LT4 (probably also includes the 1,000 Grand Sports)

    - 488 Competition Yellow

How many of those 488 Yellow are LT4... don't know. But only 488 Yellow out all Corvettes built in 1996 would have to mean a pretty low number were LT4. Less than 489 for sure.

Below is a link to pretty specific breakdowns on ’96 production numbers.

The information was obtained from the 1996 Corvette Registry
    1996 Corvette Registry

On the left-hand side go to “Production #s'” and select “Competition Yellow” to view detailed breakdowns.
