Default Engine detail questions???????

Hello to Everyone;
Getting closer and closer on getting the engine together.....just keep running into small problems....stock length pushrods too long.....have to get shorter ones.....aluminum timing cover and aluminum water pump do not want to play together.....grinder and RTV fixed that one.

But now I need help with the intake manifold....which sides do the engine hangers go on; the two bolt one and the single bolt one???

Also need help with finding replacement coolant sensors...all three of them. The one in the intake by the thermostat housing and also the ones that go into each head. I assume that the ones in the heads requires an adapter as the hole in the heads is much larger than the sensors that I took out of my stock heads. (My machine shop must have taken out the adapter and threw them away...like he did with alot of my parts!!!!)

And lastly I need to find new exhaust manifolds bolts....especially the right front one that also supports the AC compressor....where can I find that one at?

Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out.

Lanny,I believe the 2 bolt goes in the backright side,the other on left front,

coolant sensors you should be able to get them from one of the corvette parts dealers,and I don't believe the ones that go in the heads require adapters.
if any machine shop threw out ANY of MY parts they there would be he## to pay as I own them not the machine shop!!!They should have given you ALL your old parts back!!!I would go and ask them for your old parts, if they can't provide them for you,they should replace them!!!! (JMO)

as far as exhaust bolts ...try a reputable parts house in your area eg Napa or carquest,I dont know whats in your area...

good luck
bill

Quick update:

I was able to find the coolant temp sensor that goes into the intake. I think I also found the one for the temperature gauge that goes into the left head. Have not been able to find the electric fan switch though; the one that goes into the right head. Both of these will requires reducers, probably 3/4 to 1/2 inch. I not using the stock 624 heads which did not require adapters, but am using 882 heads which will. Of course I have to get the plug out of the left head first......have broke off two 1/2 to 3/8 adapters so far attempting to get it out!!! WOW is that thing it there.....expect I will have to drill it out.

As far as my EX machine shop...he either threw them away or lost them..same difference to me....that is why he is my EX machine shop..and I have told anyone that will listen not to use them.

Thanks for the responses.
