Default Are 624 stock heads worth trying to sell??

I am still in the process of rebuilidng my engine. I kept the block but have gone to a set of 882 heads and was wondering if there is a market out there for my 624 heads. They have been cleaned, and there are no cracks. They have not been surfaced or anything and all components have been tossed.

Should I put these on ebay or is there someone here that would be interested in them?

    Thanks,
    Lanny

I doubt they are worth anything. I guess they crack fairly easily and were very common. When I got my engine rebuilt, they found that I had a cracked head. The engine guy gave me another 624 head for nothing. If it was worth anything, I doubt he would've given it to me for free. Myabe I'm wrong. Stick them in the corner and save them.

I agree.. The car may be worth more with the original heads. More than you could get selling the heads anyway.

But I am not putting the 624 heads on the engine. I am using the 882 heads instead. Is this going to drop the value of my car? It has the original block, but since I had the block zero-decked, the numbers are gone. And as this is no show car by any means; looks completely stock, but have put so many new parts on it, it is far from original.

So if there is anyone that needs a set of the 624 heads to keep their car original, be sure to contact me. For now they are just sitting in the corner of the garage in a bag with WD-40 sprayed all over them.
