Window Hardware Replacement
Hey guys. I'm thinking about replacing my window tracks as part of my interior restoration. I have electric windows. Just trying to gauge the level of difficulty. Please provide any information, advice, tips, etc. if you have tackled this before. Thanks.

Great tip. I will grease them and attempt to adjust the windows again.
Thanks.

Hey Bill. I will use lithium grease. Any suggestions on the type of product to use to clean?
Thanks.

Update: I pulled both windows out of the doors. I discovered that the rollers were in bad shape. In fact, my windows had 3 to 4 inches of play in the up position. After replacing the rollers, adjustments were a lot easier. I also cleaned and greased my door lock mechanism while the glass was out.
