    "Accumlator piston".....saw this on ebay...have no idea what this is...but it states it is for a 1981 Corvette. Just curious as I thought I knew every part of my car.

    I couldn't find the piston for the '81 but from what I saw it looks like a tranny part.

    It's a part of the auto trans modulator.

    Auto trans part huh.....well that explains why I have no idea what it is then.....I have a manual trans.
