Your car is absolutely beautiful - you did an excellent job!
I saved this car from the boneyard: Looked like it was pulled from the swamp in Nov.2007. Took three years to get on the road: Did all the work myself: Rebuilt the engine, Paint, all upholstery, tasteful exterior changes, lowered, exhaust, wheels. Took to Los Angeles last summer(2011), entered it in two cruise in shows and won 3rd place in one(40 cars), won Best in Class in the other(70 cars). Ride with the Mother Lode Corvettes in Sonora, Cal. I'm 68 and owning a Corvette has been a vision.
Red body band, door handles, hidden antennae, removed emblems, New weatherstrip, pro street red paint from Eastwood.com. Removed 3rd brakelight from top of car & cut in and installed LED 3rd brake light in back. Modified Phantom license plate trim.
New carpet, seat upholstery, radio, rebuilt the gauges myself, rebuilt the sport seat functions myself, finished in red/black, seats upholstered with velour. Seats are very red. Look a little washed out in pic. A close friend made the "Corvette" quilt. Pic is under the lights at L.A car show; changed the color a little.
New Sony radio, speakers
Rebuilt the motor, stock except for a mild intake upgrade.
Lowered 1 1/2 ", new Bilstein sport shocks
18" wheels with 265 40 18 General Exclaim tires
