NCRS Question 72 air cleaner lid dimples

I have what I thought was an original 72 air cleaner assembly. It has 4 dimples on the lid. I was told the originals had 6 dimples. True?
I also have a 74 lid only (about 12" dia) that has 4 dimples. Did 74 originals have 6?

I realize that the number of dimples does not guarantee originality just want to know how many dimples true originals have.

I have a '73, the lids are identical to those used in '74.

Four dimples.
