Got a delivery from SCP a couple of weeks ago. I openned the box and set the parts aside until the other items I ordered from a different vendor showed up. Wifey did a little housekeeping in the garage disposing of the shipping container and the paperwork!!
Fast forward to yesterday... the rest of my underhood dressup stuff shows up and it's time to go to work on the new Grand Sport LS3!! Pull the coil covers, wipe down the plenum to prepare for chrome cover, attempt to dry fit cover... Oh Sh*t!!! it's for an LS2!!
Sent an e-mail to SCP after reading their return policy which clearly states that the original shipping packaging and paperwork were required... remember the wifey???
Anyhow, SCP is shipping me the right part with the promise from me that I'll promptly send back the wrong part!!

In this day of half assed vendors who don't really give a rats ass about the people that keep them in business, I am here to tell you that SCP has earned my business from here on out!!
I hope the rest of you will do the same!!

Thanks guys!

Ok so the company that's doing this movie my son Zach landed a part in this summer (Angel of Shavano) finally has their web site up (still a work in progress), with some pictures and a "rough cut" trailer. The trailer will grow over time as more scenes are filmed and existing stuff is further refined. I kinda ended up as part of the crew, helping out with production related stuff. It has definitely been an interesting experience! (Zach is in the bright green shirt, backwards baseball cap and headphones)

www.angelofshavanomovie.com

Angel of Shavano is set near the ghost town of Saint Elmo, Colorado, where our main character lived as a child, his father being a hard rock miner. Two years after witnessing the brutal murder of his mother and being displaced, he has returned to his childhood home while on a backpacking trip for troubled youth. He finds his father's mining claim and enters the tunnel, where he helps himself to something inside the mine. It's his after all, isn't it? But a Native American ghost, the beautiful and alluring Angel of Shavano, appears to him, demanding her treasure back. He takes it anyway, and bad things begin to happen... very bad things.
Two decades later, our main character has sought refuge in a hostel in Montana, where he gets help for terrible nightmares he has been having since his childhood. Upon learning about the death of his father, he returns to Colorado, and that's when things begin to heat up as he is hunted down by the Angel of Shavano.
Parent: "Perhaps you missed my demonstrations of love. They were shown in the times I comforted you when you were sad or sick, clothed you, fed you, educated you, cheered you on in your endeavors and held you accountable when you fell short of your best. Perhaps they were shown through my personal sacrifices as they were many and often. Perhaps those were so plentiful that you could not see the effects of "a lack of love" because those would have needed to have been experienced firsthand... I and could never let that happen to you because of my love for you."

I ordered an ink toner cartridge on line with a Visa card and I paid it off early so I didn't pay much attention to the statement when I got it. So today I'm making another payment and checked my account prior to paying it and see a $21 charge, $19 in interest and $2 late fee. As far as I could see I had no balance for 2 months. What I found out is that the toner place added an additional charge of 1 cent. That one cent cost $21!!!! :madI called the credit card company and after seeing what was done they took off the charge.

But how in the heck does 1 cent cost $21???:confused

Anybody else run into this?

Ok, Ok I know this is a Corvette site but this is a Chevy and it is for a good cause. Mod's, if this needs to be moved please do so.

Here is the sccop:

Beloit Youth Hockey Association (BYHA) is giving away a 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS. The drawing will be held April 9th 2011 in Beloit WI. Ticket cost is $20 each and we are selling 5000 tickets only. More information regarding the car, BYHA and the raffle can be found at www.winachevycamaro.com . You can purchase tickets from the site using Pay-Pal. The winner will drive away in the actual car pictured. If the winner chooses to trade this in on a Corvette, I am sure Scott at Bud Wieser Cheverolet can help. :) However this would look great in a garage next to any Corvette!

Beloit Youth Hockey is a non profit youth hockey club in Beloit WI. We have around 120 kids ages 4 through 14 who play hockey in either an in house non competitive leauge or in competitive leauges in WI. 5 of our travel teams qualified for State tournaments last year.

Our goal with this fundraiser is to help keep the cost of hockey low for these youth and families. In addition to benefiting BYHA we will be giving 10% of our profits to a local Veterans orginization.

If anyone has any questions you can PM me or email to winachevycamaro@gmail.com.

Thanks
