Hi everyone, just got in from our first Carlisle experience! Met a couple guys we parked across from on Sunday who told me about this site and I definitely wanted to check it out.
The 2 vryqwk/vrykwk's were right there, and one gentleman from Winston-Salem NC who mentioned he was a moderator here.

A little bit about me: I've been a Vette owner personally for just over a month now, picked up 2004 Z06 Z16 #640 in early July. My mom got her 2nd Vette (a 2006 LS2 red/black convertible w/ black&gold stripes) just over a year ago after my father passed away and left her money to go get her Vette; her first one was a '69 Daytona Yellow that was lost in a divorce back in the early 70's.

Great to be here, looking forward to meeting you all, and being a part of the Corvette family :)

At 63 gave up my Harley and bought a 2004 convertible, Commemorative edition. LOVE the ‘vette! No helmet, no leathers, no rain suit! Perfect. A couple questions: How do I get the “avatar” so I can show off the vette when posting? The products that help prevent scraping the front (i.e. Fat Daddy, Fat Mamma, etc.) Are they worth the effort?:)
