I am looking at purchasing a used C6 that has plastic paint protection mask on it. Question is do any of you have any experiences with what to expect when this is removed. Has the paint been affected at all by having this coating on it....faded etc. or is the clear-coat affected?

We probably all have our own opinions on these types of products, but I personally would never install it on my cars or trucks.

is a process that takes top 30 min , and difficulty is 2 out of 10 , u may have to lower your back for a minute.
it may be better products out there but this method always works for me. just be aware that some chemicals out there may stain , so don`t try new things on your own car.
what you need is a metal polish paste , a metal sealant/wax , 1 microfiber towel and 1 terry towel. i have dedicated towels for wheels and exhaust.
after u wash the exhaust tips and dry them put a dime size of metal polish paste on terry towel and spread it ( 3 inx3in is ok) , rub gently the exhaust tips until the grime is remove , same on interior of the exhaust. wipe clean and apply metal sealant with a microfiber towel. now you should have protection for good months and next time when u clean them should be easier.

Products i use :
