Default CruiseFest... This will be #?

Andre' hit on something with his thread about Who is coming to CruiseFest this year (Cleveland 2008). One of his answers was All 5, which got me thinking... yea I know.... I wonder how many CruiseFests members have attended??

So ...

I made it a public poll so when you particpate you're name will show

The only one I missed was #2 at Bowling Green. After driving from California to Bowling green 4 times for events, I passed... Sorry but there is only so much NCM in my blood..

#1 Auburn, IN

#3 Bowling Green, KY
#4 Colorado Springs, CO
#5 Cleveland, OH

I am still a novice as Cleveland will only be my second, but hopefully not my last. Jane Ann, you must try your best to make Cleveland this year or you will be tied with me at 2 CFs.. We already have lost Patrick for this one and I understand that Catbert may not be coming as he is still in Arizona. To all of those who have not attended a CF, you simply should attend one. Andre says that there won't be any mountain cruises with Dan in the lead, but looking at the Agenda, he and Rob have lined up great activites. The best part is making new friends and renewing old acquaintances from previous CF's. I am really looking forward to it.

Have been to #2, #3...and well of course #4 (I think I was there, somewhere?)...sadly I see no way possible for me to make it to 5.

Hey Master Yoda, are your travels gonna bring you through the mountains?

Bill

Not on this trip Bill... BUT, we are planning to make the Tahoe Run in September, work it in with visiting old friends in CA then head up to Tahoe, then probably back across I-80 to visit family in Nebraska ... so anything is possible

Sorry for the temp..

I have very fond memories of the first one, Auburn. Seeing the new C6 get on the exit ramp right next to our motel, motoring on down the ramp and then pulling into our parking lot. What a sight! That Vette was absolutely beautiful. And the lady engineer who drove it to us was absolutely puzzled by the passion and excitement the C6 caused! She was in charge of the assembly line for the C6 and sometimes forgot how her job affects the many Corvette nuts out in the world.

And who could forget the torrential storms that followed that introduction! The electricity going out definitely put a little crimp into Blender Wars. Until Rob & Andre took a blender to a nearby store to use their electricity!

Lets see...

SharkFest on 2002
Cruisefest I on 2004
Cruisefest IV on 2007

And it seems that the years I DID NOT attend were due to my Vette...or lack of a running Vette...that sucks! Although on 2002 I showed-up on my commuter car...

I made Sharkfest in the wife's Pontiac Vibe but, Gerry, we were there and that's what counted. Riding in Ken's car was something I'll always remember. Riding in Killer before it was famous was a kick too. I think Sharkfest was sort of a pre runner to the first CruiseFest.
