    Default egr question /// help

    I have a 84 crossfire with no smog or air and i was wondering.......


    1. Can i leave the egr on the intake and remove the soleniod?

    2. With the smog stuff removed (do i need the solenoid

    3. Do i just block it off?

    any ideas? The A.I.R. pump is gone. So will i need the egr sealnoid? What if I just block it off and leave it plugged up? Will it throw any codes

    You'll have to leave the solenoid hooked up or you'll get a code. Just plug the vacuum hose that goes to the egr. Yes, you can block off the egr valve.
