    Default Mystery Vette

There has been alot of talk about the revamp Corvette. If the revamp Camaro went to the 68' Camaro. It seems likely the revamp
Corvette should go along the lines of the Manta Ray or Mako Shark. Did they pull the Manta Ray out of the museum 2 years ago
for maintanance? If they use the Manta Ray as the revamp model.........God help my bank account! Manta Ray was the most gorgeouse
    Vette ever concieved........Just my opinion.

The Manta Ray is a beautiful car but would not be raceable in ALMS today. Hidden headlights just don't cut it now. The C7 will support Corvette Racing's need for a slick body and down force.

I suspect the C7 will have headlights more like a Ferrari 458 Italia while keeping a lot of the C6 profile. Lighter, silghtly longer wheel base yet be the same overall length. LED tail lights - not Camaro lights.

Mako Shark had hidden headlights, Manta Ray did not. 1969 Corvette Manta Ray @ National Corvette Museum - YouTube But i see your point, car is a bit exotic,
    even by todays terms.

Looks like Google Images has the Mako Shark and Manta Ray pictures mingled. I see they changed the flipping head lights on the Mako to fixed lights on the Manta Ray. Sorry about that.

Still would not make a good race car for today's series.
