    Default GM Files Stingray Trademark

Interesting that GM registered the term "Stingray" with the US Patent and Trademark office in May of this year:

They did the same thing with "ZR1" a couple years before the ZR1 debuted. I wonder if there will be a C7 Corvette Stingray?

Interesting. If they reuse the name I hope it's across the board like it was in the 60's & 70's. There are already too many people confused about the significants of that name. Don't know why but, many that are not Vette savvy are under the impression that it denotes a special edition or option package.
All fast cars are fun but, an old Vette is a work of art.
