Default Turn off chime, delayed accessory

I have a 2006 coupe. Wlile detailing after washing, I like to listen to the radio. When the driver's door is open and in accessory mode, can the chime be temporarily be stopped? Also, accessory mode seems to last about 15 mins., then it shuts off. Can accessory mode be kept on longer without resetting? Thanks! Tom

I believe all the factory circuit defaults are set at 20 minutes (+-) to ensure that you don't run down the battery. I haven't heard about a way to reprogram. C4C5specialist should be able to give you an absolute answer.

HI there,
What I usually do, is to hold the 'off' button down for 10 second, this turns all electrical systems ON, without starting the engine.
If your battery is sound, you should easily be able to leave it this way for 30 mins.
Just turn off your headlamps.
Allthebest, c4c5

Thanks! I'll try that. Will that also stop the chime?
