I have an 05 Z51 Corvette with the 6 speed standard. I am scheduled to run my car next weekend at Sebring Raceway. Its a 3.7 mile road course. I also scheduled for GM to install this Teusday a set of 4:10 rear gears. As I was laying in bed thinking about how different the car is going to feel and how different it should be at Sebring raceway I thought hmm I wonder if there is a break-in period for the rear gears. In essence IM going to install them drive 50 miles to track then beat the snot out of the car.
Im wounder in anyone out there knows if there is a break in period for the gears and whould you wait to go to the track or go and not worry about it
