Tire sensors

I have bought a set of four used tire sensors from a 2007 Corvette. They are marked with LV, LA, RV,RA. L=Left R=Right But i don not understand, does it matter in which wheel i place them in? And was do V and A stand for?

Hi there,
Those have no bearing on position.
They are individually programmed and it doesnt matter where you put them.
Those are manfacturer specific letters, not GM identification.
