Supposed to be another way to bypass CAGS

No ,yes . Junkie installed a CAGs bypass but i'm not sure what he did .Anyway I like it .

A little research came up with the desired answer. Buy a Smartfuse, blow it, install it, computer sees the led load it's happy, transmission solenoid disabled no CAGS.....your happy

Will this work on a C5?

Unfortunately "NO" the C6 has a dedicated circuit to the transmission solenoids, the C5 does not. You will have to get the CAGS defeat resistor that plugs into the wiring at the transmission.
