C6 Delivery Costs - New info

Okay, for those looking to "drop ship" or "courtesy deliver" a C6 to your local dealer...it's easy. I've talked with 4 seperate dealers here in the San Antonio area and every one of them is quoting $300 for their fees (except one). This includes prep, delivery, and inspection (PDI), fueling, temp liscence plate, cleaning, affixing of some stuff, and registration sticker. $300 is exactly what you would also pay if you were to buy any other new car. This is a flat rate, and would be listed in the final itemized bill for the car. Basically, it covers everything that has to be done from the time the truck arrives with your car on it, to the time when they hand you the keys.

I would question any dealer that wants to charge you more than that...and I'll tell you more after I question my local dealer as to why THEY are asking $500 for delivery...hmmm.
