Show Us Your ZR1

When I purchased the ZR1, I noticed some small scratches in the Carbon Fiber Halo behind the fixed roof.
The service manager order the new part and the car is in the shop getting it replaced. It took seven weeks
for it to arrive becase they don't keep them in stock anywhere so it had to be manufactured.
To take the halo off you have to remove the rear window in order to get to some of the fasteners.

Additionally, also when I purchased the ZR1, the passenger headlight seal was pushed in and torn.
They will replace both headlight assemblies. In order to do that, they need to remove the front bumper.
The headlights and labor to remove and replace the bumper is about $3,000.00. Plus labor and part for the Halo. It will take two days but the costs are all under warranty.

Next week the ZR1 is scheduled to get a 3M full clear bra from the front splitter to the doors/hood/front fenders. Also the carbon fiber side molding and from the rear of the door to the wheel well up to the bottom of the gas tank door.

Lastly I will get the sides and rear window tinted. I hope to post photos of the completed work.

Maybe if the 8 were ZR-1's in the middle!

Then it would be an "ALL Z PARADE"

It could even have some Z06's in it as well for good measure and still be an "ALL Z PARADE"

Your Z and mine would look just like these two but just change the colors

With a little coordination I think I could get 6 ZR1's together - but 10 at one time would be quite a sight.

I got the ZR1 back from the dealer this evening.

Both headlights and the Carbon Fiber Halo were replaced.

Perfect job.

Bryan - We drove the Tahoe to Carlisle this year so I could load up on some parts. I did stop by and say Hi to the ZR1 folks. Photos from the Big Event.
