    Default Supercharger

    Hey guys,

Too excited... Next Wednesday (April 6'th) I am getting a Magnuson supercharger on the Z. Im hoping to get over 600 HP at the crank since the car already has some mods done to it. Anyone else with a supercharger have any advice?

    Happy vetting!

You going to be one happy camper with some very serious traction issues.

Whay type of tyres are you currently running? That was one issue that I have some concern about. I guess time will tell...

Hey Stosh. I bought a new ACI hood which fits perfect. I will have a lengthy post after I am done with a before and after. She should be ready here in about 5 hours.

    Cheers,

    Michael

A full report will follow... But right now all I have to say is OH MY GOD. This thing moves. I can be in third gear at about 60 and it will accelerate like it would in 2nd gear w/o the supercharger.

    Wow,

    Michael

Is there is any long term effects on the engine that could be caused by the supercharger? Some people say it shortens the engine's life and I dont know how true this is.

Does your fuel mileage goes up significantly? would the car still be useable for day to day driving?

    Hey Hitman1,

I have not heard anything in regards to longevity of the engine. I have noticed about a 1-1.5 mpg difference in my car. I use mine as a daily driver and I get about 15 mpg now. Hope that helps.
