    Default BRAKE SQUEAL

My front brakes squeal when stopping at low speeds. This has been going on since day one. Any ideas????? I have a 2004 C-5 with now 9500 miles on the odometer.

With that situation on my street car I had them change them. Noise just wouldn't go away.

I put spooge on the back of the pads. Never had a problem.
If that doesn't work, I'd try lightly sanding the pads and rotors.
If that doesn't work, then spend money.

stop harder! they vibrate because the clamp force isn't high enough to stop the vibration. (play radio louder works too)

Is expensive hard lining harder on rotors than cheap soft lining.
