    Default oil pressure balance

    I would like to know is the can of change is expected to the oil pressure while driving???
    mine seems to jump for 30psi to 50psi???

    First, welcome to the CAC!

    The pressure will fluctuate some, depending on engine speed. What does the pressure guage do, exactly?

    thank you. the fluctuation seems to appear with the speed i'm driving at, low speed low pressure high speed high pressure, pretty simple pattern.

    I am sure that someone who knows more than I do about this will post, too. But I think that is normal.

    My oil pressure will vary from the low 30's when idling or at low rpm's, to 50's under a moderate load (say 4000 rpms).

    Is this similar what you're seeing?

    this is the same reading i am getting so I guess it's right, thanks for the tip.
