Convert-Top-to Window
Hi all--I'm having a problem with my window not going under the top when I close the door. The pass side works great. The window just pinches the top @ the upper right hand side. I took it to the dealer and they told me they would have to adj. the window itself to make it work. Well I let them do it and they can't get it right either. So every time I'm in the car I have to lower the window just alittle and back up to get rid of the wind noise. It also looks like if I keep it this way it will start to do damage to my top and maybe my window system, (because of the small bind on window when closed) Can anyone help me with this or is this just a Vert thing. I have a 98 if that helps.
Thank you---Terry

I have to to the same thing on mine also. With the top up, lowering the window slightly with the door closed and then rolling it back up seats the window better in the top seal. The C6's do this automatically when you open and shut the door. If the window is hitting the fabric top when opening or shutting the door, then the window adjustment is off.

Vert Top
Hi there---it is hanging up on the top with door closed. Just alittle but enough to put the glass in alittle bind.

Hi there,
The adjustment is with the TOP, NOT THE WINDOW.
In order to push the top of the edge up, you will need to move the top up and back.
This can be accomplished 2 ways, however, I will give you the first adjustment that I would do.
There is a 13mm bolt and jamnut beneath the hinged black pivot plate when you drop your top down. You simply loosen the jam nut and rotate the screw out 3 turns. Do this on both sides, and you will be just fine.
Also, be aware, this will add a little extra effort when latching the top down, this is normal, as the top settles to the new adjustment.

Hi c4-c5. I went right outside to my baby and did that adjustment you called for and my baby says--"Thank You" her pain is gone. It worked like a dream. Also for your info----my dealer told me they do not adj tops--just windows. Well I'm lost on that one--it was in their hands 2 times and it took me less than 5 min. to fix with your advice. Thank you for the advice--now both doors close and look good when closed.
