Read my other post to see my several problems... It has been going on now for too long...

The car is currently being serviced at Horizon Chevrolet in Naperville, IL

Try D&M Corvette in Downer's Grove.

I believe they do all kinds of work specifically to Corvettes

You absolutely can not go wrong by contacting JASON SMITH, he is the Vettte Tech at Ogden (formerly Team) Chevrolet in Westmont. 630 986 8600, ask for in service.
He handles my 03, did my 98 and handles scores of other local an not so local folks cars.

In the Western Suburbs, I have to echo the recommendations of others here that direct you to Jason @ Team Chevy in Westmont on Ogden Ave at the intersection of rt. 83.

Jason is polite, seems to accomodate all levels of knowledge and is mod-friendly. He pro-actively invited me out into the shop just to watch him change the oil in my '02 C5.

I can't tell you now important it is to establish a relationship with a dealer mechanic. A good one will guide you through the TSBs even after warranty has expired.

For service that is beyond the dealer expertise - there are many good ones. PTC in Elk Grove (Geoff worked at Team years back), Speed in Schaumburg, FLP, etc, etc. I'm surprized you haven't gotten more responses here.

Give me a reply and we can mull it over.
