Passenger side window adjustment roadster
When the door is closed on the passenger side of my 98 roadster, the window won't fit under the "drip" edge of the top rear of the window. It hits the convertable top just at the corner at the rear top of the window. Then I have to roll it down a little then up for it to close properly. I looked at the service manuals and adjusted the window so it would "tip" in at the top more, but is doesn't help. I looked at the up & down adjustment but couldn't figure it out. Any ideas?
Thanks

Technical Advisor
Hi there,
It is not so much a window adjustment, as it is a top adjustment.
Early convertibles had this issue, and it was critical that the top be adjusted every six months to avoid this.
If you would like, fold up the top, so that it is in the position that you have it when you pop the hard deck in the rear.
Now, if you look down the plastic flap, you will see an adjustment stop, located on the rear of the top frame, behind the seat belt upper mount point.
You will just have to loosen the 13mm jam nut, and turn the screw counter clock wise, to raise this stop.
Go equal turns for the left, and the right.
Just remember, that you will have more tension when you raise the top, so you will have to put more weight on the front part, to latch to the top of the windshield.
Let us know how you make out, c4c5

I seen the adjustment screws you're talking about. I will give it a try tonight and let you know. Thanks for your help.

I adjusted to top as suggested and it took care of my problem. Thank you so much for your help.
