C5 Cooling
Is the cooling fan on a C5 supposed to run after turning off the engine until the coolant cools off? Mine is not running and I can't remember if it used to. Temps out side here >105deg and it is running a little hotter 235deg but after sitting off a few minutes then turned back on reads >255deg. Thanks

I can't ever recall having mine continue to run after shutting off the engine.

It can be programmed to do so (mine does), but that's not stock behavior.

The stock fan-on calibration for C5 almost never has the fans running with the key off. The only times that may happen is if the engine is either overheated or near being overheated.
As "Mr. Lucky" says, that part of the fan calibration can be changed but you need HPTuners to do it. A hand held reprogrammer can change the fan-on temperatures but it cannot alter the way the fans operate when the key is off.
