Skip Shift Eliminator
Hi All,
I am finally annoyed enough to install a skip-shift eliminator. Anyone have a preference on which to install? There only seem to be a couple options out there and although the pics look different, they pretty much have the same description. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks.
PS. I'm sure there is already a thread out there for this subject somewhere. But, I'm, shall we say, search capability challenged and wasn't able to find one. Sorry for any duplication.

Radio Shack 2.2k-Ohm resistor 1/2 watt 5% tolerance number 271-1121 pack of 5 $2.00 6 1/2 years ago. Folded the leads to make good contact on one and put it in the cable end. Rubber taped both connections to seal them and then electrical tape to hold it together. Zip tied them together so I knew they were not going anywhere and I've not had a problem since 10/10/04.
C6 has been to 20 states, 45K miles and counting... slowly, more fun driving the '64 and the '72.

25 bucks plus shipping and you don't have to do anything but plug it in and wire tie it out of the way. Also protects the factory wiring harness from dirt and road grime so that it can be reconnected at any time later.

Thanks Everyone!
Your input is very much appreciated. Picked one up on ebay for $6. Seller said it was never installed. Guess I'll find out when I get it.
Thanks again!
