Default found a simple cheap way to fill the transmission

Amazon.com: Sprayco R32 32 Oz Long Reach Plant Waterer: Home Improvement
    works on an A4
I'm thinking it should work on a manual
I just used a heat gun to make the tube bend the way I needed it so it would fit.
I doubt it would work with 90wt but dexron flows easily and it worked to perfection
found one at a local hardware store for 4 bucks

Looks to be a great solution.

We use these in our shop for drill cutting fluid.
I'll have to grab one and see if it would work.
They have the tube that goes to the bottom so you don't have to tilt the bottle.

    Thanks for the idea.

How much of the fluid were you able to squeeze out of the bottle without a pump?

for the price and ease of use , it's a great deal.
it's ideal for topping off too.....
for a shop that does this in volume , it would be ok just for topping off , most shop pump fluid out of drums....
Durability would be an issue if daily use was needed
but then , it is cheap

parts houses has a pump that screws into the top of the bottle. and has a hose with a clip that fits into the hole. even with all that i still made a mess, i would end up wearing half of that thing.

Very true. Plus it takes for ever, and a lot of pumping (and energy) to use the very low volume pump. I like the 2qt. bottle with higher volume pump (you squeezing) action much better.
