Default Window Valet

Hey guys/gals, good deal on eBay right now for a used Window Valet:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tem=7969142712

$76.00 with only 1 day left to bid. I am not the seller and am not promoting it or eBay, I just thought I would share a good deal when I see one. This is a great mod, especially for convertible owners.

I'm interested in a review of the window valet. Having a black interior and the weather being as warm as it was here Joisey this past week, the window valet would have been a nice little feature.

Well, I have one in each of our C5s and they are a great little mod. Hit the unlock button on your remote 3 times and both windows roll down; hit it 3 times again and both widows go back up - great in the summer to start cooling off interior before you get in. It can also be programmed to do other things like play the radio after the keys are removed from the ignition, record if the car is driven after leaving with a shop or valet. Program it using the DIC on your dash. A simple microchip that plugs into the OBDII connector under the dash at the steering column.

Thanks vetmaniac!! Thats exactly the one I saw in Mid America (I think). I'll probably get one before the real hot weather hits.

One more question. Do keep the original remote that came with the car???

Chris

The Window Valet is easily one of my best mods I've done to my coupe . I'm sure if you ask others here in the forum it's a mod every C5 should have done to it.
