Hey gang,

I know some of your wives don't like to get wind through their hair,
so here's an alternative. My wife puts on a Corvette logo baseball
cap and pulls her hair through the back into a pony tail. She looks
great and we avoid the wind screen.

With all due respect Remo,there are things that some people like and just because someone else might not care for those things dosen't make them wrong or make anyone less of a man or woman. Enough said now before this turns into something it shouldn't have already.

My wife keeps a big hair clip in the Vette and if the top is down she just wraps her hair up and puts the clip on. I also keep a couple of hats in the trunk just in case. The only time my wife doesn't like the top down is when we hit the freeway with speeds at 75, a screen might be nice for times like that.

Has anybody had any experience with the rear wind deflectors available for C5 convertibles. Do they work? How much? Where? Are the worth the cost?

I've got one, the newest clear acrylic NetVette. It seems to work ... somewhat. I'm tall and it does limit the seat tilt somewhat. I've used it twice; probably wouldn't buy it now mainly because of the seat interference, but this is only a factor for the tall folks.
