carfax question

I've been checking out a 2001 Z06 and the guy said he had the nose replaced, minor damange he stated. If any of you have access to carfax to run a search for me I would greatly appreciate it. If not, I will sign-up next week.

Hi leftygolfguy -

Don't even waste your time with Carfax - my wifes car has been wrecked our times - once for over $10k in damages - and carfax shows it as clean...

Ask a dealer to run the service history on the car, and then take the car in and put it up on a lift and have a qualified mechanic check it out. Give the mechanic whatever you would have spent on a carfax.

You will be able to tell if it is a crash-tester or not.
